Laser Therapy

Rebalance Laser and Massage is proud to offer clients cold laser therapy with the latest healing technology from Theralase!

What Laser Therapy Does

Laser therapy is an effective, painless way to eliminate pain, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing of acute and chronic injuries. Paired with massage therapy, you will find your physical health improving dramatically!

Cold laser therapy is safe and effective because it triggers the body’s own healing mechanisms and gives them additional energy to increase the body’s capacity to heal itself. Penetrating into targeted tissue, laser light stimulates your cells’ mitochondria to produce additional ATP, which fuels cell repair and regeneration. The laser simply jumpstarts the healing process, and since the laser operates only within non-thermal wavelengths, there is no risk of burns or other complications.

How Many Treatments?

Your body needs time and treatments to really get started healing. Some people feel different after the first treatment, while others do not begin to feel the effects for several treatments. The number of treatments you require depends on your injury. We will discuss the most effective treatment schedule for your specific pain and injury with you prior to beginning a program, however, a general rule of thumb for a treatment schedule is:

Type of Injury Treatment Plan
Acute
(just happened)
Six treatments: 3x per week for two weeks, additional treatments scheduled as needed
Intermediate
(happened between one and six months ago)
Twelve treatments: 3x per week for two weeks, 2x per week for two weeks, 1x per week for two weeks, additional treatments scheduled as needed
Chronic
(happened more than six months ago)
Up to 25 treatments: 3x per week for three weeks, 2x per week for three weeks, re-evaluate based on results
